By shifting through the many possible conspiracy theories, there are plenty with plausible ideas but are there any that tell the truth. For me I believe the ultimate conspiracy must have the main three categories; action, evidence and motive. I will attempt to give my top 5 conspiracies and show each category throughout each conspiracy, before naming the most fool proof conspiracy theory for me.
Weighing up all evidence, Jackie Kennedy has remained very quiet all these years about the death of her husband. The Jackie Kennedy conspiracy falls in my number five spot for these reasons.
Action; Jackie Kennedy’s action to kill President Kennedy makes a lot of sense, using the zapruder film we see a number of things pointing towards how Jackie could’ve easily shot at least one bullet killing her husband. As well as this her collaboration with others to kill her husband could be very possible. For this reason I believe that Jackie Kennedy could’ve easily shot her husband and gotten away with it all these years. 15/30 Evidence; the evidence pointing towards Jackie is not substantial, but it is convincing. Using the certain frames from the zapruder film we see what could be a bullet being fired from Jackie at President Kennedy’s head. As well this, Jackie’s actions after her husband is shot is quite suspicious, she tends to hold back before helping and also appears to be hiding something immediately after the shot is fired. Overall the zapruder film is a crucial piece of evidence showing Jackie Kennedy is the killer of President John Kennedy. 20/30 Motive; for me this is where the conspiracy falls down, because the conspiracy presumes Jackie Kennedy (such a nice peaceful women) would kill her husband purely because he cheated on her occasionally. There is some finger pointing that Lyndon Johnson framed Mrs Kennedy but there is no way Jackie Kennedy would have been able to carry out such an act. 5/30 This conspiracy is interesting to think about but has too many holes, we see well thought through evidence presented by the conspiracy’s believers but all the evidence in the world can’t outweigh the fact that Jackie Kennedy had no motive to kill her husband. 40/90 One of the most believed conspiracies is that the CIA killed John Kennedy but does that mean that it’s true? Out of all 61% of Americans who believe there was a wider plot to kill President Kennedy, the majority believe the CIA masterminded the killing.
Action; a hit on John Kennedy would be very simple for the CIA, the CIA organises many hits on plenty of individuals every year. Also the way the CIA would’ve been able to frame Lee Harvey Oswald is very possible. The description of Lee Harvey Oswald appeared over police radio minutes after the assassination of President Kennedy, and no record is held of how this description was found. This seems to suggest that the CIA planted the description of Lee Harvey Oswald in order to shift the blame. 25/30 Evidence; the evidence pointing towards the CIA is the lack of evidence more like. The denial of CIA files being released to the Warren Commission shows a shroud of secrecy surrounding the CIA and is relatively suspicious. Other evidence such as the neglecting of CIA agents following Lee Harvey Oswald points to the CIA. The lack of evidence however seems to be where this conspiracy falls down. 10/30 Motive; there is a very clear motive within this conspiracy, to begin with the CIA and John Kennedy did not get along very well at all. As I have previously explained John Kennedy clearly disliked the CIA and the CIA clearly disliked him, the motive for the CIA could’ve possibly been to regain control of the country by having a President in power who would respect the CIA more than President Kennedy. As well as this the CIA may have wished for a President stricter on the Soviets unlike President Kennedy who was more than happy to start peace negotiations with the Soviets. Therefore the motive of the CIA is more than clear within this conspiracy. 20/30 Overall the CIA takes the number four spot due to the popularity and the consistency of the whole conspiracy, overall the conspiracy presents well thought through facts and ideas, but fails to deliver evidence. 55/90 The Mafia conspiracy is the most believed around the world, and presents the most facts and seems to have the least number of holes in the story.
Action; to begin with nothing places any member of the mafia in Dallas that day, in order to kill President Kennedy, although it would be easy to kill the president and carry out the “hit” no evidence to another killer besides Oswald has ever been proven or found. Therefore we must assume that Lee Harvey Oswald was the shooter within the Mafia conspiracy, so how was the murder carried out? Assuming this conspiracy Lee Harvey Oswald would be the Mafia’s hitman, but Lee Harvey Oswald has absolutely no connection to the mafia and no connection has ever been found. Thus meaning the possibility of the Mafia ordering or carrying out a hit on President Kennedy is growing slimmer. The conspiracy fails this category mainly because there is no sure way the mafia were connected to the events of that day, although they were connected to the President in other ways they did not seems to appear on the official radar until the appearance of Jack Ruby. 5/30 Evidence; the evidence pointing towards a mafia conspiracy is overwhelming. To begin with the amount of ex-mafia members coming forward claiming to be involved in the assassination is overwhelming, and the presence of Jack Ruby amongst everything only strengthens the possibility of a Mafia conspiracy. As I have previously discussed in my blog there is so much evidence pointing towards the Mafia, therefore this category is excellent in terms of the credibility of this conspiracy. 30/30 Motive; although the motive for the conspiracy is not as strong as the evidence, it is still overwhelming. The NEED for John Kennedy’s death for the Mafia is what pushes the whole motive. With John Kennedy gone and his brother in turn the world would eventually be back to the way it was, the pinnacles of change would disappear and the mafia would be back to running the streets. With John Kennedy out of the picture the Mafia would be happy, and with John Kennedy out of the picture Robert Kennedy would soon follow before being able to destroy organised crime. The motive for the Mafia to silence John Kennedy is very clear within this conspiracy. 30/30 Over all it is clear why the Mafia conspiracy stand out amongst all others and it is also clear why, because people want an easy road out. It’s easy to believe the Mafia did it, but what has been ignored is the logistics of such an event, and how the Mafia actually carried out the hit. That is why the conspiracy falls into the third spot. 65/90 Relatively unknown this conspiracy seems to hold a lot of water, yet is ignored.
Action; George Bush had all the time in the world to carry out this conspiracy, his uncle a high ranking government official could’ve easily smuggled him in and out of Dallas, Texas. He has access to plenty of weapons and ammunition and governmental papers and documents which would’ve easily helped him carry out the assassination that day in 1963. George Bush refuses to say where he was on the day Kennedy was shot purely because he was there on the grassy knoll shooting the President of the United States, as well as using his uncles power to place the blame on Lee Harvey Oswald. The actions although they aren’t specific would’ve been more than possible for George Bush to carry out. 20/30 Evidence; to begin with the evidence pointing in favour of Bush completely outweighs all evidence for George Bush. George Bush has given no reason as to why he did not kill John Kennedy. More evidence pointing towards Bush is that his uncle was the advisor for three future Presidents and one past President, all of which were from the Republican Party the opposite of John Kennedy. George Bush was also a high ranking official in the CIA at the time which would’ve allowed him to carry out the killing secretly and hidden the files from the warren commission run by his friend the Director of the CIA and also his friend and future President Gerald Ford. George Bush’s uncle did everything in his power to guarantee his nephew and his great nephew would be president of the United States by killing the Republican Party’s main threat. 25/30 Motive; who doesn’t want to be President?! The main motive behind George bush’s assassination of John Kennedy was the inevitable future for him and his son as president. Another minor point is that their uncle also lost his campaign with Richard Nixon, who was cleaned up by President Kennedy, this job was not only about power but about revenge. Overall there is not much more need for a clearer motive, although it’s not an amazing motive it’s certainly a strong one, anyone will do anything to be the leader of the strongest country in the world. 25/30 A minor theory but a powerful one, this conspiracy brings together all evidence and mysteries caused by the assassination, such as files being hidden from the warren commission. Taking out the second spot mainly because of the consistency through all categories, but also because the conspiracy has well-presented and thought though ideas which seem to hold water. 70/90 Lyndon Johnson is a relatively quiet figure amongst all of the conspiracy chaos, and seems to slip the net of most major conspiracy advocates, but the rumors are about to be laid to rest. Ladies and gentlemen Lyndon. B. Johnson ordered the killing of the 35th President of the United States.
Action; the 22nd of November was the day of revenge for Lyndon Johnson but it began like any other, living in the shadow of the man that stole his job and his title. Earlier that morning the vice president was introduced after the President as usual as well as not being sat in the place of honor. Had this president forgotten how I won him this state?! The thoughts ran through his mind as the President spoke. As the motorcade rounded that corner on Daley Plaza Lyndon Johnson ducked as he knew the bullets were about to be fired, once the fatal blow was dealt to he sent the details of Lee Harvey Oswald to an officer who then circulated them. Lee Harvey Oswald was later arrested claiming “they framed me” meaning Lyndon Johnson had previously agreed to look after Oswald, but later realized is he sacrificed the killer then it would make him look less suspicious. Lyndon Johnson had it all planned out, the speech, the clothes and the future. In the famous photograph of President Johnson’s inauguration he leans down and whispers something into Jackie Kennedy’s ear. Was it a boast of his killing of John Kennedy, or was it a reassurance that no one will know who did it? Upon arrival to Washington Johnson had his speech ready and waiting as he addressed his nation for the first time, the nation which was so easily taken from his grasp b the now dead President Kennedy. Johnson didn’t like to think of it as a killing more, returning the favor. Johnson could’ve easily organised a hit on President Kennedy. 30/30 Evidence; one of the key pieces of evidence linking President Johnson to the murder was his statement to his mistress the night before the murder, claiming those SOBS had done him for the last time. Did this mean he was going to silence the Kennedy’s? We will never know. What we will know is that the Kennedy’s and Johnson had a bad history. Johnson had always despised the Kennedy’s especially Robert, but just like the Mafia conspiracy the best way to rid the white house of the Kennedy’s was by removing John and then firing Robert. Another key piece of evidence linking President Johnson to the murder of John Kennedy was his history in organised crime, Johnson has previously been convicted of plotting to kill. If he has plotted to kill before nothing is stopping him from plotting to kill now. Johnson’s selection of the warren commission was controversial as many were right wingers, and the CIA member was the leader fired by John Kennedy quite harshly, as well as a future President of the United States Gerald Ford. Johnson had enough influence to mastermind the killing with the backing of CIA leaders and Mafia leaders his plan came together quite nicely, the Mafia threw in Jack Ruby and the CIA withheld files to throw us all of the scent of what really happened thanks to Lyndon Johnson’s cunning plan. 30/30 Motive; Johnson’s motive has become very clear. He was sick and tired of being second place to President Kennedy, the President had bathed in success and glory all thanks to Lyndon Johnson winning the southern vote. Lyndon also wanted the Kennedy’s out of the white house and didn’t want to wait until they had to leave, so he made them leave. Johnson didn’t like John Kennedy’s policies particularly around Vietnam and the communist’s. Johnson had a clear motive to kill Kennedy. Although not the strongest of all three categories Johnson’s motive was clear and concise, it fits with the conspiracy and the evidence provided and allows a truthful explanation to the assassination. Believe it or not Johnson would kill to be President. 25/30 In conclusion this conspiracy theory withstands all criticism, and manages to have an answer for all gaps unfilled by other conspiracies. The LBJ theory has it all, a strong motive through to substantial evidence. Not only does this conspiracy make sense, it is able to back up all claims with viable evidence. For me I believe that Lyndon Johnson either killed John Kennedy or masterminded the assassination of the President. I believe the crucial pieces of evidence confirming Lyndon Johnson was the killer are his statement to his mistress the night before the assassination, and the motive for killing John Kennedy. Overall although it is too late to bring Lyndon Johnson to justice it is our duty to respect President Kennedy’s life and seek his killer, the truth will set you free and Lyndon Baines Johnson is the truth. 85/90 |
